A multinational defence training centre in Bydgoszcz needs a hands-on technician for its end-user estate: getting devices ready, getting people back into their accounts, and fixing the everyday problems before they turn into bigger ones. Fully on site, as part of a small support team with clear procedures.

What you would be doing

• Building and rebuilding laptops from the standard image and configuring them so each one is ready for its user on day one
• Setting up, wiping and preparing iPhones for the people who carry them
• Handling account requests - password and MFA resets, access to the systems people need - against approved tickets
• Solving the common problems at first line: logins, software errors, printers, Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity - and escalating what needs a deeper look
• Keeping devices patched and compliant, checking deployment status and fixing basic failures
• Logging everything you install, fix or deploy, so the next person can see exactly what happened

What you would bring

• Proven end-user support experience with desktops, laptops and peripherals in a business or operational setting
• Confidence with device imaging, software installation and Windows troubleshooting
• Basic networking - IP addressing, connectivity checks, wireless and wired faults
• Day-to-day use of a ticketing or service management tool, and the habit of keeping it accurate
• Sound instincts on security basics: passwords, access control, looking after devices
• Clear communication with users, and the willingness to work extended hours around exercises and events
• Nice to have: ITIL, VDI environments, Apple and VMware tools, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
