As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with our business teams to understand their needs and transform them into actionable, fit‑for‑purpose data products. These products which are owned by the business, will be supported by you from data collection and analysis to visualization and reporting, ensuring they adhere to the agreed requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with business stakeholders and team members to understand requirements and support data‑driven solutions.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data products using Power BI, SQL, and Azure data services.
- Supporting the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data products aligned with business objectives.
- Participating in data analysis, visualization, and reporting activities to deliver actionable insights.
- Contributing to continuous improvements in reporting, data quality, and analytical processes.
- Communicating findings and recommendations clearly to both business and IT stakeholders.
- Supporting data governance activities, including data quality and consistency initiatives.
You will report directly to the Manager, Data Quality and Products within VFS D&IT and will be assigned to a stable, global cross‑functional team. Digital and IT is the engine of the VFS business, and we continue our strategic journey to further improve performance and to deliver the best customer experience in the industry.
The preferred location is Wroclaw, Poland.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within financial services or a corporate environment.
- Understanding of one or more business domains such as credit, risk, collections, asset financing, or portfolio management is an advantage.
- Good proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
- Ability to translate business requirements into reports, KPIs, and analytical insights.
- Experience working with data quality processes and resolving data‑related issues.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data lake concepts, or Databricks is considered a plus.
- Basic understanding of statistical techniques and data modelling is advantageous.
- Good communication skills and English proficiency, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT stakeholders.
