Specialist Central Financial Steering (Direct Material, Procurement) - M/K

For our client we are looking for candidates for the position of Specialist Central Financial Steering (Direct Material, Procurement) – M/K.ZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:

• Central steering of Procurement with regard to material cost (performance, labor, raw materials, special purchasing effects), invest cost, fixed cost and cash
• Functional leadership and coordination of more than four decentralized commodity counterparts (Project Coordinators)
• Functional leadership and coordination of more than five decentralized Material Heads, including steering and preparation of Executive Board committees, e.g. Financial Review Procurement/Finance, Cost Price Council Procurement/ Finance/ Sales
• Steering of the current fiscal year, following year, and PR forecast planning (5 year outlook)
• Steering and moderation of Business Plan Reviews at Executive Board, division, and department head level (incl. scheduling, templates, and submission deadlines)
• Representation of perspectives in expert alignments
• Interface to Finance on various topics, including consolidation of FMK relevant KPIs, preparation of management meetings, and representation of Procurement in the preparation of PR planning sessions
• Definition of governance structures (tracking lists, reporting) and cross brand further development

• High requirements regarding confidentiality and reliability (capital market relevant information)
• Strong interest in interdependencies and impacts at overall company level (entrepreneurial mindset)
• Excellent analytical skills and fast comprehension
• Structured working style and high resilience
• In depth knowledge of procurement systems and processes in Direct Material Procurement
• Very good English skills (suitable for negotiations), German is a bonus
• Specialized expertise at the intersection of financial performance management and procurement steering
• Confident appearance towards (top) management with a strong sense of organizational and political awareness
• High level of communication skills, characterized by targeted, precise communication (“to the point, without unnecessary elaboration”)
• Ability to work independently and to anticipate roadblocks and influencing factors at an early stage
