Your responsibilities

Distribution Centre management:

• Plan and prioritise efficient workload of orders according to customer demand and supervise the shift patterns of employees.

• Ensure that all shipments are despatched accurately and by allotted deadlines using establish processes and procedures.

• Constantly examine the procedures in the department looking for continuous improvement opportunities.

• Ensure that all areas of despatch fully adhere to the company health and safety regulations.

Team management:

• Ensure that all recruitment, training, appraisals and discipline are coordinated and in line with company policies.

• Maintain records and consistently and effectively respond to discipline and motivational issues.

• Actively monitor moral in the team and take action to address issues and provide support as required.

• Maintain consistently high levels of housekeeping within the department.

• Ensure that all activities within the department adhere to the relevant and applicable quality standards.

Our requirements

• Language skills: fluent written and spoken English.

• Minimum of 2 years experience on similar position within a Production/Warehouse environment.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Logistic.

• Previous knowledge of SAP.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

• Very good communication skills focussed on the needs of the customer and ensuring standard work is always followed.

• Independence in action, ability to take appropriate decisions to achieve desired results.

• Organised and able to manage tasks with short lead time constraints.
