Your responsibilities

• Develop and implement Excel-based discounted cash flow (DCF) models for financing purposes and for project, technology, and company valuations in renewable energies (e.g. wind, solar, storage)
• Support the design, automation, and improvement of financial models and internal tools, leveraging Python and SQL
• Ensure consistent and accurate financial assessment of projects and investment opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with financial partners in close collaboration with the Polish leadership team
• Conduct research and assessment of local market feedback and relevant financial and market data
• Gather and validate commercial, financial, and project-specific information to enable timely and reliable financial analysis of pipeline and acquisition projects across various project phases and transactions
• Populate and run financial models and support international financial modeling efforts on an as-needed basis
• Prepare decision memos and optimization proposals for management based on financial model results.
• Assess opportunities and risks in current markets through monitoring of energy and commodities prices, political and regulatory developments, and banking and investor markets
• Network with local industry participants and relevant stakeholders

Our requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in financial modeling, project finance, power markets, M&A, or infrastructure, ideally in a renewable energy context
• MBA or MS and/or CFA designation strongly preferred
• Experience in international and cross-functional project environments is an advantage
• Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced financial modeling skills
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL is a strong plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with readiness to suggest and implement process improvements
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
