Job Description

The Brand Manager is an individual contributor who is a developing subject matter expert, working independently with minimal supervision. Serves as the subject matter expert on Product Management strategy and provides advanced insights into market performance and product trends. Acts as a thought leader on product development and drives data driven solutions for stakeholders and customers. Leverages analytics and reporting to develop go-to-market strategies for new products.

Brand Manager manages daily Product Management operations under minimal supervision. Executes the Product Management strategy and employs a customer‑centric approach that incorporates the latest innovations in research and development. Creates presentations and reports that highlight key performance indicators and reflect the complexities of the market. Incorporates industry best practices into recurring Product Management processes. Utilizes predictive analytical tools to forecast product performance in the market and recommend product enhancements.

In this role you will also be collaborating with the Medical Affairs and Market Access functions and other sales and marketing teams to search for new opportunities through systematic assessment of market trends, unmet customer needs and competitive activity.

Brand Manager develops, leads, and ensures execution of business plans to meet future needs and expectations. Responsibilities include development of short-term tactical sales and Brand/Product Management marketing plans, and contributes to longer-term tactical plans. Ensures brand integrity by leading efforts across multiple functions and channels. Implements tactical plan by providing appropriate promotional materials. Works across all elements of the marketing mix and uses appropriate channels of communication. Monitors and controls budget to assess promotional effectiveness. Works productively with external agencies and cross‑functional groups within the organization. Ensures completion of market analysis and monitors competitive activity. Develops new concepts and products; portfolio management and prioritization of new opportunities through financial modeling and gap analysis. Builds strong network with key opinion leaders and monitors industry developments impacting business. Develops innovative marketing programs based on brand/product strategies and implements through staff. Coaches and trains junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities. Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Develop commercial tactics and message plans to drive optimal launch and best brand positioning at local level, aligned with the EMEA brand strategy and product positioning.
  • Responsible for monitoring the brand performance at local level and providing standard KPIs and metrics in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the implementation of segmentation, targeting, channel and marketing mix strategy, taking into consideration customer needs, and ensuring that relevant customer information is entered and maintained in iConnect and other relevant tools.
  • Perform market research – planning, insights and execution.
  • Business planning – updates, forecasting, product sheets, marketing mix analysis, strategic planning.
  • Develop and monitor product budget; ensure expenses stay within budget and understand the impact on the product contribution statement.
  • Develop partnerships with medical societies, opinion leaders, consumers, patients, clients and other enterprises to deliver on key projects.
  • Ensure safety reporting requirements (timely AE/PQC reporting) as set out in company policies and SOPs are met and appropriately managed when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors.
  • Ensure HCC and legal requirements (Fair Market Value, Transfer of Value rules, Promotional Materials rules) are fully understood, appropriately managed and complied with when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors.
  • Maintain highest standards of ethics, quality, compliance and accountability: compulsory training must be completed on time; act in accordance with the Quality & Compliance Core Objective and help others do the same when there is an opportunity.
  • Leverage own network of KOLs and key stakeholders to build and monitor company/ brand loyalty.

Benefits

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 205,000 PLN to 354,200 PLN. In addition to base pay, we offer an annual bonus with a set target (16% of pay) depending on pay grade/location, where the actual amount is based on the employee´s and company´s performance of the previous calendar year. We also provide vacation days, parental leave for a minimum of 12 weeks, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well‑being reimbursement, programs for financial, physical and mental health.
