About the project

We are looking for a highly Automation Test Engineer to join a long-term transformational program focused on redefining Identity and Access Management on a global scale. You will work within a dynamic team in Cracow, utilizing an automation-first approach to test secure, scalable identity and access workflows across Google Cloud Platform. Your expertise will be essential in integrating identity services with custom APIs and cloud-native applications. Your responsibilities

• Building and maintaining an automated test framework and suites for API, event, and graph-based services using Python and PyTest
• Defining and executing test plans, cases, and data aligned with requirements and technical specifications while maintaining traceability for functional and non-functional requirements
• Validating IAM concepts and access models such as RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, and PBAC, and testing decision points as code through policy-as-code
• Performing API automation, contract testing, and replay/reprocessing scenarios to ensure reliability and performance
• Validating graph data, including nodes, relationships, and event lineage, with a preference for experience in Neo4J
• Producing regulatory evidence as required and supporting entry and exit criteria along with test governance activities
• Creating and managing Jenkins pipelines for test execution and reporting as part of the CI/CD process
• Logging, tracking, and driving defects through triage to closure while communicating progress to stakeholders

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automated testing and software engineering
• Strong expertise in Python and PyTest for building reusable test utilities
• Hands-on experience with API testing and automation, including REST API tooling such as Insomnia, Apidog, or Postman
• Practical knowledge of IAM concepts and identity lifecycle management, including human and non-human identities
• Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, and a shift-left mindset in testing
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and concepts related to Pub/Sub
• Advanced level of English
• Work from the office in Krakow 6 times a month

Optional

• Exposure to Playwright for UI testing
• Basic knowledge of Neo4j and Cypher queries for graph data validation
• Familiarity with TypeScript and advanced schema/property-based testing
