Junior Java Developer

We are currently looking for a Junior Java Developer to join one of our teams delivering projects for a client in the banking sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while working on an internal banking application.

In this position you will:

• Collaborate with the client throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in software development activities, including solution design, implementation of the user interface, and business application logic.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and software quality through code reviews and team collaboration.
• Develop and enhance products created by our company.
• Work closely with other team members in an agile environment.

We are looking for you, if you:

• Have at least 2 years of commercial software development experience.
• Develop applications in Java and, preferably, Angular (approximately 70% backend and 30% frontend).
• Have hands-on experience with the Spring ecosystem (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
• Are familiar with relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL).
• Are interested in working with technologies such as Docker, Ansible, Apache Camel, Elasticsearch, and Kafka .
• Enjoy learning new technologies and sharing knowledge with others.
• Are a team player.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Are goal-oriented, proactive, and persistent in solving problems.

Additionally, we value:

• Experience in the banking industry.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of software development best practices and principles (SOLID, DRY, Clean Code).
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and BPMN.
• Good command of English.
• Experience using AI tools to support software development, documentation, or related activities.
• Experience building modern solutions based on large language models (LLMs).
