About the project

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Cyber & Insider Threat Senior Analyst. We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber & Insider Threat Senior Analyst to join our Security Operations & Threat Management team. This role is responsible for detecting, investigating, and mitigating cyber threats and insider driven risks across the organisation. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with behavioural analysis, threat hunting capability, and the ability to lead complex investigations with discretion and precision.

Your responsibilities

• Produces the high level security design patterns and security architecture documentation, covering documented descriptions of the security management procedures, processes, information flows and integrations
• Support and / or lead the process of product evaluations, proof of concepts / value and work with key stakeholders on the review and selection process
• Supporting the architectural modelling and documentation of the FedEx Cyber Security products and services against selected frameworks
• Support and deliver technical architecture documentation of high level designs for specific technical solutions covering the functional and non-functional requirements
• Ensures that all FedEx corporate standards are adhered to in the security design process
• Obtain knowledge and information on Cybersecurity industry best practice both for products which FedEx own and new / emerging technologies and services
• Support the development of and documentation of standard solution and design patterns for the deployment of FedEx security products and services
• Provide technical and solution architectural guidance to teams and team members within the FedEx Information Security Organisation as well as internal business stakeholder groups outside of Information Security and external customers
• Work with our selected 3rd parties / vendors / partners to critically assess new and / or existing solutions and services, evaluating products and services for their efficiency and effectiveness as well as their cost benefit and return on investment projection

Our requirements

• Experience of security frameworks such as NIST, Mitre ATT&CK Frame work, SABSA and Cyber Kill Chain
• Experience of executing AI Security solution management and monitoring in the form of process development and reviews of the required AI security management systems.
• Experience of Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies, solution design and best practice
• Experience of Application and Software Development Lifecycle Management processes and technologies and specifically how to secure such technologies
• Experience of data architecture best practices in terms of secure data repositories and data products and solutions
• Experience and / or knowledge of IT Architectural, Service and Governance processes such as TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL
• Experience of Zero Trust networking and connectivity solutions and principles
• Specific technical and / or solution experience of one or more of the following products

• Crowdstrike – Products and Services
• Okta - Products and Services
• WIZ - Products and Services
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services
• Confluent, Kafka, messaging technologies
