Responsibilities

• Ensure that the IT and payment infrastructure remains reliable, progressive, and efficient.
• Guide the team and drive innovation in card payment processes, selecting and implementing advanced technologies while continuously improving infrastructure.
• Integrate systems seamlessly, managing the acceptance of Q8 cards across external networks and coordinating with terminal and authorization providers.
• Analyze business needs, explore new technologies, and translate them into smart, efficient solutions.
• Support colleagues and collaborate with internal and external partners, bridging the gap between strategy and technology.
• Safeguard IT operations, ensuring network activities have minimal impact on daily business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in end‑to‑end payment processes, preferably in the fuel or mobility industry (IFSF protocol).
• Familiarity with ISO8583, ISO20022, payment processors, gateways, Mifare Desfire, EMV cards, TCP/IP, NAT, IPSec VPNs, and MPLS networks.
• Certifications such as CNA, CCNP or JNCIA are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, and clear communication.
• Effective prioritisation and professional report writing to support decision‑making.
• Flexibility, approachability, and willingness to travel within Europe.
• Fluency in English.
